Alan earned his Bachelor’s degree at Indiana University Kokomo and his Master’s in Counseling and Human Services degree at Indiana University South Bend. He is currently working towards his clinical licensure as an LMHC. He is also a licensed school counselor and works full-time at Logansport Junior High School since starting there in 2009. Prior to earning his Master’s degree, Alan was a substance abuse counselor at North Central Juvenile Correctional Facility from 1995 to 2003 and a substance abuse counselor and supervisor at Miami Correctional Facility Level 1 from 2003 to 2005. In addition to that experience, he has provided Christ-Centered Biblical counseling as a lay counselor within the churches he has attended. ​
