Employment Status: Part-time, non-exempt position. (Monday- Thursday 3:30 to 8:30 pm) Position Summary: The receptionist creates a welcoming atmosphere for clients in the waiting room and reschedules appointments. He/she takes payments for sessions and answers the phones. Essential Job Functions:
Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Answer the phone
Reschedule current clients
Schedule new clients
Take messages, listen to voicemails and forward them to appropriate departments within the office
Check and verify Medicaid eligibility for next day Medicaid clients and communicate any changes to the Billing Specialist
Email satellite churches each Thursday to notify them of the following week's schedule for office space, etc.
Lock up the building in the evening (clinician offices, file cabinets, cash drawer, front doors)
Work with other staff and outside parties to manage collective responsibilities Interact with clients, counselors, office staff, vendors, and visitors in person, on the phone, and through email
Work with the Executive Director and Office Coordinator on any needs or questions that arise
Overflow scanning of new client documents to the EHR system Light cleaning
Must abide by FCC policies and procedures

Must be prepared to provide religious/spiritual resources to those who inquire
Must be prepared to explain FCC’s Mission and Values to those who inquire
Other duties as assigned Qualifications: The Evening Receptionist will possess a High School diploma or equivalent or Associate Degree (preferred). Has an ability to work well independently and well as part of a team. This person must oversee and manage all office procedures and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director. This person Must have a lifestyle that reflects a personal relationship with God. This person Must have a passion to minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of individuals, families, and the community. Work Schedule: Schedule: 3:30 pm-8:30 pm (Monday thru Thursday) Part-time, non-exempt position. Days off for this position are considered to be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Physical Demands: The ability to talk, hear, see, reach, bend, stoop, and sit for extended periods.
Skill, Knowledge, and Ability: Computer literate, good writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of principles and practices of the organization, planning, records management, and general administration. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to telephone systems, calculators, copiers, and facsimile machines. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
