Melinda completed her Bachelor’s degree at Cedarville University where she majored in Social Work. She went on to complete her Master’s of Social Work degree at Indian University South Bend and is currently working towards clinical licensure. Melinda has past experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families of all shapes and sizes providing home-based case management. She has worked with individuals who are navigating their way towards healing from abusive relationships past and or present. Melinda has a passion for working with trauma and grief, as well as the everyday stresses of life. Melinda integrates theories, research, and practices of attachment, trauma-informed care, and holistic health into her work. Melinda is also working towards certification in EMDR therapy and currently practices these techniques.
