Kelvin earned a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries from Indiana Wesleyan University and was ordained in the Wesleyan Church. While serving on church staff, he felt called to pursue advanced clinical training and completed a master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family in 2000. He became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2004.

With over 25 years of experience at a local Community Mental Health Center, Kelvin has held various roles, including crisis services, child and adolescent day treatment, and outpatient therapy. He believes that God has a purposeful and hopeful future for each client and is passionate about walking alongside them as they pursue healing and personal growth. Kelvin emphasizes the importance of understanding how past experiences shape present functioning and integrates multiple theoretical approaches in his work, with a particular emphasis on Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
