Alicia is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) who received her bachelor's degree from Ball State University in Family and Child and her master's degree from Valparaiso University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  Alicia has worked in the field for over 20 years with experience working in foster care, community mental health centers, schools, and private practice.  Alicia has experience working with all ages and specializes more in anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, and nutrition.  Alicia is passionate about mental health and takes a more holistic approach to counseling.  Alicia takes the approach that healing involves the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. With a deep respect for each client’s unique journey, Alicia tries to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can explore challenges, uncover strengths, and develop personalized strategies for healing and growth.  Alicia takes her job seriously and views it as an honor to sit with clients and be a part of their healing journey. Alicia views her job as a calling.  Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with friends and family and being in nature.  Alicia is active and involved with her church and helps with the youth programs.
