Peggy is a licensed clinical social worker with over 40 years of experience helping people of all ages with a variety of issues. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Carnegie Mellon University and her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Peggy is licensed to practice in Indiana, Virginia, and Oregon, and she currently focuses on working with adults, couples, and families.

Her areas of expertise include mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, abuse recovery (physical, sexual, and emotional), family and marital therapy, women's issues (including pregnancy loss, infertility, and menopause), grief, and the complexities and challenges of aging.

Peggy's therapeutic approach is psychodynamic, relational, and emotion-focused, with a strong influence from family systems theory. She believes that coming to faith later in life has deepened her ability to connect with and understand her clients' unique journeys.

Outside of her professional life as a therapist, Peggy is married and has three adult children and six grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, going for walks, and creating functional pottery from her home studio.
