Daniel obtained his BA at the University of Notre Dame where he studied Theology and Physics. After spending time teaching overseas, he returned to Indiana and has worked as a teacher and in home-based services. Daniel completed his Master of Social Work through Indiana Wesleyan University and received his LSW. He is currently working towards his clinical social worker license.  His experiences have included working with young children, childhood trauma, family therapy, and addiction counseling. ​
