Joe has been providing behavioral health services in private practice and community behavioral health settings for over thirty five years. He earned his first master’s degree in clinical psychology through Indiana State University and later completed the requirements for a master’s in social work through Indiana University. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor. In addition to his practice at Wabash Friends Counseling Center, Joe is employed full-time at Community Howard Behavioral Health in Kokomo where he provides outpatient behavioral health services to adult populations. He specializes in the area of substance abuse and has extensive experience working with these consumers. Additionally, Joe is active in the Kokomo community serving on the Mayor’s Council for Substance Abuse, the Howard County Adult Drug Court Team, and the local taskforce to address the growing opiate crisis in Central Indiana. Although he specializes in addictions work, Joe’s long history of experience makes him well-suited to help others suffering from a wide variety of behavioral health concerns. Joe resides in Kokomo with his wife, Suzie, and they have three adult children and two grandchildren.
